Portable defibrillators (AEDs) have been installed at Colony beaches and parks.

A team of volunteers have installed fully-accessible AED’s on the exterior walls of lifeguard shacks at 1, 3 & 4 beaches. The Craft Pavilion install will occur prior to spring sports and Vaughan already has an AED. Please familiarize yourself with their exact locations!

This project was spearheaded by Colonist Tracy Carter, who secured the generous donation of all four units from The Heart House and Virtua Foundation in Marlton. Tracy worked with Past President Dennis O’Neill, myself and MLAA Pickleball Commissioner Kevin Koch for over a year to make this potentially life-saving asset a reality. Thank you Tracy!
